We’re fully into the season of giving now, and with everyone feeling conscious about money, we’re feeling the need for a gift-giving hack.

Something they want

Let’s start with the fun one, shall we? We’re thrilled to say that The Forum is THE place for Christmas markets galore and the stalls are always filled with unique, and usually locally handmade, gifts. So come and find something you didn’t know you – or your loved ones - wanted this festive season. We’ve got one on every weekend until Christmas so you’re spoiled for choice.

Something they need

The markets are also a fabulous place to find your everyday products like coffee, soaps, homeware… the list goes on. Make something they use in daily life that little bit more special by purchasing from a local producer or maker.

Something to wear

We’re so pleased to be welcoming On The Stall City to The Forum who will be setting up shop from the start of December between Café Bar Marzano and Customer Services. Filled with NCFC merch and kits, you’re bound to find something for the young, or long-time football fan and to support the Community Sports Foundation too!

Something to read

Well this is a good one, because we are home to the biggest (and best, in our opinion) library in Norfolk. Head to the Millennium Library – from cooking to crafting, family-friendly reads to fascinating fantasy, there’s books for anyone and everyone. Plus book sales of old stock on the first Wednesday of every month. And if you haven’t got a library card yet – do so! This is the gift that just keeps on giving, and anyone can make use of.

Something to experience

Good news! The award-winning Norwich Science Festival is back in February 2024 and a selection of epic programme highlights have been released early! The Festival will feature a jam-packed programme of talks, shows and workshops - including YouTube star Maddie Moate! Having something to look forward to in those cold, dreary months is always a very welcome gift. Plus, you can create memories that last longer than perhaps.. a bottle of something…
